Senegal uses the GAINDE system (Automated Management of Customs Information and Exchanges) for all customs clearance operations.

Required documents

For import


1. Customs declaration (D6 form)
2. Commercial invoice
3. Bill of lading or AWB
4. Packing list
5. Certificate of origin (if applicable)
6. Specific certificates (phytosanitary, etc.)

For export


1. Export declaration
2. Commercial invoice
3. Certificates required by destination country

Customs regimes

Release for consumption


Standard regime for goods destined for the local market.

Temporary admission


For temporarily imported equipment (construction sites, events).

Bonded warehouse


Storage without duty payment until release for consumption.

Transit


Passage of goods to a third country (Mali, etc.).
